About Tsurune
Tsurune follows Minato's return to kyudo after target panic, animated by Kyoto Animation. Season 1 ran 13 episodes October 2018 to January 2019 on NHK, ending on the prefectural tournament. The Yabai OVA from 2019 plays an unaired 14th episode bundled on disc.
The First Shot film from August 2022 recompiles season 1 with new scenes as a primer. Season 2 subtitled The Linking Shot ran 13 episodes January to March 2023 into nationals. No continuation is announced. Watch S1, then the film as recap, then S2.
Good to know
Release order is the story order. The Yabai OVA slots after season 1 as episode 14 in spirit. The First Shot film recaps season 1 and plays as skippable for marathoners, required only for the new scenes. Season 2 assumes the prefectural result. No third season is announced. The novels continue past the anime.
