About Animaniacs
Animaniacs follows Yakko, Wakko and Dot escaping the Warner water tower for skits with Slappy, Goodfeathers and Rita. Five seasons aired from 1993 to 1998 with Pinky and the Brain breaking out into their own series from 1995. Wakko Wish from 1999 gives the Warners a feature quest.
The Hulu reboot from 2020 runs three seasons to 2023 with the same trio and new songs. Watch original segments in any order since they reset, then Wakko Wish, then the reboot. Pinky and Brain fits between original seasons as a parallel track rather than a sequel.
Good to know
Any episode works as a start because segments never carry plot, but broadcast order shows running gags build. Watch Pinky and Brain after meeting the mice in Animaniacs season 1 for the lab setup to land. Save Wakko Wish for after the original run since it gathers the cast.
