About Ballmastrz: 9009
Ballmastrz: 9009 is the Adult Swim sci-fi sports comedy from Superjail creator Christy Karacas, produced by Titmouse with Natasha Lyonne voicing fallen superstar Gaz Digzy. Season 1 ran April 9 to May 7, 2018 and Season 2 ran February 24 to March 23, 2020, each with ten quarter-hour episodes following Gaz and the Leptons through the violent future sport called the Game.
The story continues in Ballmastrz: Rubicon, a half-hour special animated by Studio 4°C that aired February 20, 2023 and follows the Season 2 finale. Adult Swim ordered Season 2 back in July 2019, but as of late 2023 no further episodes were in development, so the two seasons plus Rubicon are the complete released run.
Good to know
There is no separate chronological order worth listing for Ballmastrz: 9009. The plot runs straight from Season 1 into Season 2 and then into Rubicon, so release order matches story order. Watch both seasons before the special, since Rubicon reveals secrets from Crayzar's past that only land after the series. The special streams listed as part of Season 2 on some platforms, but it belongs last either way.
