About Alienators
Alienators: Evolution Continues picks up after Ivan Reitman's 2001 Evolution film, with scientist Ira Kane leading Wayne, Gassie and Lucy against evolving alien organisms. The DIC series ran 26 episodes from September 2001 to February 2002 with weekly mutant threats and team science solutions.
Release order is the guide because the film sets up the team and alien rules that the series assumes. Watch the June 2001 Evolution film first, then the 26 episode series straight through. The series stays episodic with self contained evolutions, so the film is the only required prior viewing for full context.
