About BoJack Horseman
BoJack Horseman follows washed sitcom horse BoJack chasing comeback with Diane, Todd and Princess Carolyn. Seasons 1 through 5 from 2014 to 2018 run 12 episodes each around memoir, Secretariat film and Philbert arcs. Season 6 split into two eight episode parts from October 2019 to January 2020 closing rehab and the View from Halfway Down.
Raphael Bob-Waksberg created the Netflix run with Will Arnett leading. The Christmas special sits after season 1 as a standalone extra. Every season's relapses and reckonings assume the last one's damage.
Good to know
Watch seasons 1 through 6 in order with the special after season 1, since addiction arcs compound directly year to year. The show is TV-MA adult animation with heavy themes throughout. Diane, Todd and Princess Carolyn grow alongside. The January 2020 finale closed BoJack's story, and no revival has been announced.
