About Braceface
Braceface follows Sharon Spitz, a teen whose high voltage braces pick up radio signals, phone calls and remote frequencies. Aided by friends Alden, Maria and Connor, Sharon turns each malfunction into a rescue, from hearing test answers to jamming broadcasts. The early run covers the fitting, the first powers and the Alden crush.
The middle stretch follows new abilities per mishap and rivalries with Nina Harper. The closing run ends with graduation storylines and Sharon choosing who to trust. Nelvana aired 78 episodes over three seasons from 2001 to 2004 on Teletoon and Disney Channel. Watch seasons 1 through 3 in air order.
Good to know
Watch the three seasons in air order, since brace powers and friendships build episode to episode and the Alden romance only lands in sequence. Each episode stands alone, but Nina schemes reward order. No film or revival continues the story, so the three seasons are complete. Track the ability of the week. The 2004 finale closes Sharon school era cleanly.
