About Pelswick
Pelswick follows Pelswick Eggert, a thirteen year old in a wheelchair who refuses to let it define him, navigating high school with friends Ace and Goon and rival Boyd. Created from John Callahan cartoons, episodes mix school comedy with Pelswick blunt takes on being treated differently. The early run covers new school dynamics and first crushes.
The middle stretch follows council runs, job mishaps and dating arcs with Julie, while Boyd schemes keep backfiring. The closing run ends the short run with the crew facing high school milestones. Nelvana aired 26 episodes over two seasons from 2000 to 2002 on Nickelodeon and Teletoon. Watch seasons 1 and 2 in air order.
Good to know
Watch both seasons in air order, since friendships and the Julie thread build steadily even though episodes stand alone. The show treats the wheelchair as background, so watch how rarely plots hinge on it. Callahan edge survives in the jokes, which adults still quote. No film or revival continues the story, so the 26 episodes are complete. The 2002 finale closes the school era without loose ends.
