About Care Bears
The Care Bears moved from greeting cards to two 1980s TV specials, three theatrical films and the DiC and Nelvana series of 1985 to 1988. Revivals in the 2000s and 2010s led to Unlock the Magic (2019-2024), and a Warner Bros. feature is in development.

Movie II (1986) is a prequel, so the chronological order below starts there. Warner Bros. tapped Josh Greenbaum to direct a new Care Bears film in June 2025, still early in development with no writer, plot or date announced.
