About Chikn Nuggit
Chikn Nuggit is a surreal short form cartoon by Kyra Kupetsky for BuzzFeed Animation Lab. Chikn, a floppy eared yellow dog, hangs with Cheezborger, Slushi, Fwench Fwy, Sody Pop, Cofi and Iscream. Early shorts run seconds and play sweet, then Bezel the time embodiment pulls a Demigod arc about Chikn chaos powers.
Over 300 shorts passed a billion views by 2023, with 700 plus by 2026 across TikTok, Instagram and YouTube. A Spanish dub started in 2024. Frederator agreed in 2023 to develop a premium longer series, still undated as of October 2026. Upload order is the only order, lore builds slowly.
Good to know
Watch in upload order in batches, not one sitting. Start with 2020 Hello World through the first fifty for tone, then jump to the Demigod arc for plot. Shorts run 15 to 20 seconds, compilations group years on YouTube. Kupetsky briefly left in March 2026 over an AI dispute, then returned when BuzzFeed dropped the plan. The premium series will sit at the end once dated.
