About Clerks Animated
Clerks: The Animated Series ran six episodes in 2000 on ABC and UPN, with Dante and Randal trapped in the Quick Stop while Jay and Silent Bob crash every scheme from the hockey roof to the frozen customer clinic. The show parodies clip shows, court dramas and monster finales in a single week of broadcast chaos, with Miramax letting the jokes run louder than the live action films ever allowed.
Only two episodes aired in 2000 before the DVD rescued the rest, so the run feels like a reunion special stretched across retail hell. Watch in production order, since the finale assumes the mall, the outbreak and the courtroom all happened in sequence.
Good to know
Broadcast order scrambles the intended sequence, so use production order with the pilot first and the last episode eliminated finale last. Episodes stand alone apart from running gags about the video store and Leonardo Leonardo. The live action Clerks films share characters but no plot gates the cartoon. Treat the six episodes as complete, since no revival moved past talk despite cast interest.
