About Clone High
Clone High (2002) is the cult MTV cartoon about cloned historical figures in high school: Abe Lincoln pines for Cleopatra while Joan of Arc pines for him, all in deadpan melodrama. Thirteen episodes aired before a one-season cancellation, ending frozen mid-prom.
Two decades later, Max revived it for seasons 2 (2023) and 3 (2024), thawing the clones into a new school year with the same joke density. Watch all three in order: the revival continues the exact cliffhanger. Max cancelled it again after season 3, so the show now ends twice. The original's Gandhi plots are the only part that aged poorly enough to need a warning.
Good to know
The revival keeps continuity down to the prom freeze-frame, so the 2002 season is required, not optional. Season 1's humor around its Indian characters, particularly Gandhi, reflects 2002 insensitively: the revival writes him out early. Both cancellations were ratings decisions, not story ones, so the season 3 ending is abrupt rather than planned. No further revival had been announced at the last check.
