About Code Lyoko
Code Lyoko follows Jeremie, Aelita, Odd, Ulrich and Yumi as they fight XANA from a factory supercomputer. Season 1 from 2003 sets the Lyoko rules, season 2 adds William’s arrival, and season 3 moves the fight into Sector Five with Aelita’s past closing in.
Season 4 from 2007 takes the team into the Digital Sea and ends the XANA war. Evolution from 2013 mixes live action with CGI for a 26 episode sequel with a new threat. The prequels XANA Awakens can be watched after season 1 as background rather than as a start.
Good to know
Watch seasons 1 to 4 first, then Evolution. XANA Awakens fits best after season 1 even though it shows the discovery, since it assumes you know the team. Evolution looks different and splits fans, so treat it as an extra season rather than a reboot. No new season had been ordered as of September 2026, which leaves the five runs as the full set.
