About David the Gnome
David the Gnome adapts Wil Huygen's book as doctor David and Lisa heal animals from October 1985 to April 1986 on TVE. Wisdom of the Gnomes ran 26 episodes from October 1987 to March 1988 around judge Klaus and Dani settling disputes on Henry the Swan. BRB Internacional produced both Spanish runs.
David and Lisa cameo in the Wisdom finale, linking the runs. The 1987 Great Adventure film edits David's run. Watch David first for the forest rules, then Wisdom as a same world sequel with a new lead.
Good to know
Watch The World of David the Gnome before Wisdom of the Gnomes, since the finale cameo only lands with David known well. Episodes are gentle standalone lessons, so sampling works outside the finales. The 1987 film edits David's run for newcomers. Both runs ended in 1988 with later compilations only, so the march finale is the endpoint.
