About Hit-Monkey
Hit-Monkey is Will Speck and Josh Gordon adult animated series for Hulu about a snow macaque whose tribe is killed, forcing him to team with ghost assassin Bryce. Season one dropped ten episodes on November 17 2021 in Tokyo Yakuza underworld, produced by Marvel Television with Floyd County animation.
Hulu renewed it in February 2023 and 20th Television Animation released season two with ten episodes on July 15 2024, moving Monkey and Bryce to New York with Akiko, Haruka, Iris, and Eunice. Watch Tokyo first then New York, since the second year continues the same revenge arc.
Good to know
There is no separate chronological order worth listing. The 20 episodes from November 2021 to July 2024 follow Monkey forward from the Tokyo tribe massacre to the New York Co Op fight, so release order and story order are the same list. Season two assumes the season one Yakuza revenge, which is why it must come second.
