About The Jetsons
The Jetsons aired a single 24-episode season on ABC in 1962 and 1963, then returned for 51 syndicated episodes across 1985 and 1987. The revival added the alien Orbitty and kept the original voice cast where possible.
Jetsons: The Movie (1990) closed the classic run, with replacement voices for George and Mr. Spacely after both actors died during production. A live-action film entered early development at Warner Bros. in October 2025 with Jim Carrey in talks to star and Colin Trevorrow attached to direct; no release date exists.
Good to know
The 2017 ABC live-action pilot from Robert Zemeckis never aired. Rockin' with Judy Jetson (1988) and the WWE crossover Robo-WrestleMania! (2017) are optional extras. The October 2025 live-action film reports (TheWrap, Variety, Radio Times) all stress early talks with no deals signed, so the project may still stall.
