About Kidd Video
Kidd Video mixed a live action teen band with cartoon adventures in the Flipside. A pilot aired September 8, 1984 on NBC, then season 1 ran 13 episodes September 1984 to May 1985 and season 2 ran 13 more November to December 1985. Each show opens live, dives animated, and closes on a music video.
Reruns carried to 1987 with no revival since. The Master Blaster chase never resolves by design across the 26 plus pilot. Watch pilot, then both seasons, since the Flipside rules and the band lineup stay fixed throughout.
Good to know
Release order is the only order since the Flipside premise resets nothing and resolves little. The pilot sets the band transport rules that every episode repeats. No revival or film is announced. The 26 episodes plus pilot stand as the complete run with reruns ending in 1987. The closing music videos play as bonus tracks after each adventure.
