About Cattanooga Cats
Cattanooga Cats follows cat band Country, Kitty, Scootsy and Groovy touring gigs with chases between songs across two seasons. Season 1 from 1969 sets the van, the Mildew Wolf villain, and the Motormouse shorts inside the hour.
Season 2 from 1970 to 1971 keeps the band with new gigs, chases, and short segments. Hoyt Curtin wrote bubblegum songs with tambourine shakes, loud drum solos, noisy fan screams, live shows, and wolf traps. Watch in release order since gigs repeat. The block closed in 1971 with no revival outside reruns.
Good to know
There is no separate chronological order for Cattanooga Cats worth listing, since episodes are standalone and release order is the only path. The band tour stays fixed, so any episode works alone. Watch season 1 first for band setup, then season 2 freely. Mildew Wolf chase vans and song breaks need season 1 setup.
