About King Rollo
King Rollo follows a childlike king with the Queen, Cook and Wizard. The Bread opens the run, then The Dishes, Shoes and Masks follow. Later trips bring the Tree, Umbrella and Play.
David McKee made thirteen shorts for BBC teatime in 1980. The show keeps one castle map across rooms. Watch oldest to newest since the court gags build that way. Each trip ends with the king learning small. The castle rooms and wizard fumbles open every short while Cook bakes. The kindly klutz king muddles through feasts while the Wizard fumbles spells.
