About Max and the Midknights
Max and the Midknights is a Nickelodeon fantasy comedy based on Lincoln Peirce's books that premiered on October 30, 2024. Ten year old Max dreams of knighthood and forms the Midknights with Simon, Millie, Kevyn and Uncle Budrick to save the kingdom of Byjovia from the sorceress Fendra. Season 1 ran 10 episodes, with season 2 following in 2025 across 10 more.
The quest plays as one continuous adventure, with the prophecy, the dragon and Fendra's spell chaining across both seasons. Jokes reset per episode but the Byjovia story does not, so season order matters. Watch season 1 before season 2 in release order for the full quest.
Good to know
Watch season 1 from 2024 before the 2025 second season, since the Byjovia quest runs continuously across both. The prophecy setup in season 1 pays off directly in season 2's dragon and tournament stretch. Book readers should expect a streamlined quest with the same crew. Two seasons in release order cover Max's run from recruit to true knight.
