About Adventures of the Gummi Bears
Disney Television Animation launched the series on NBC on September 14, 1985. Seasons 1 through 4 aired Saturday mornings on NBC from 1985 to 1988, following Gruffi, Zummi, Grammi, Tummi, Sunni and Cubbi as they protect Gummiberry juice from Duke Igthorn and Lady Bane.
Season 5 moved to ABC in fall 1989, paired with Winnie the Pooh from September 9, 1989 to January 6, 1990. Season 6 aired in syndication as part of The Disney Afternoon from September 10, 1990 to February 22, 1991, closing with the two-part King Igthorn finale. The full run is 65 half-hours.
