About Moo Mesa
Moo Mesa follows sheriff Moo Montana and deputies Dakota Dude and Cowlorado Kid, mutant bulls keeping peace in a crater town. The first season aired 13 episodes in late 1992 on ABC on Saturday mornings, produced by Ruby Spears with western action and jokes. The second season aired 13 episodes in 1993 with the same Code of the West setup and returning villains.
Both seasons are episodic with a steady town cast, so broadcast order is the intended path. There are no films or revivals beyond the 26 episode ABC run. Watch season one then season two for the full Code Star chase from first patrol to the later showdowns with the Masked Bull gang.
Good to know
Watch the 1992 season first, since it sets Moo Mesa town and the Code rules. The 1993 season continues with the same sheriff team, so it plays as part two rather than a remake. Each episode stands alone, which keeps order simple. The 26 episode ABC run is complete with no follow up seasons. Broadcast order keeps every Code lesson and villain debut clear across both seasons.
