About Pob
Pob follows puppet Pob living inside a TV casing with red green blue guns, breathing on the lens to trace his name. Series 1 has 52 episodes from October 1985 to December 1986 with Robin Stevens voicing and Teddy beside. Series 2 has 30 episodes from July 1988 to September 1990.
Ragdoll made the run as its first show for Channel 4 with Anne Wood and Doug Wilcox. Weekly garden guests like Josette Simon and Brian Blessed never meet Pob on screen. Music comes from Mike Stanley. Books and VHS packs reuse episodes. No third series was ordered with repeats ending the run.
Good to know
Watch series 1, then series 2. Start with the 1985 casing setup, continue through garden and craft hours, then finish the 1990 run. Speech sounds and lens play repeat each time, so any order works but keep TX order. The 82 episodes total 52 plus 30. Compilations sit outside the episode list as extras.
