About Rastamouse
Rastamouse debuted on CBeebies in 2011 for 52 short episodes about Rastamouse, Scratchy and Zoomer solving crimes in Mico Yard. Each tale mixes reggae songs with lost cheese, missing books and skate mix ups solved without blame or fright.
A second batch ran from 2012 to 2015 with new Grove cases and guest voices while keeping the 11 minute shape and band jams. The show keeps gentle morals on sharing and repair across both runs for preschool fans. Watch Series 1 first for crew setup, then Series 2 for later cases. The run ended in 2015 with books and music continuing outside TV as of 2026 for fans.
Good to know
Watch Series 1 before Series 2 since crew roles and Grove spots build across early cases. Episodes stand alone, so young viewers can sample, but release order keeps song styles and villain returns clear. Each story ends with a make it right lesson rather than punishment. The TV run closed in 2015 with no new series announced, so these two batches cover the full show.
