About Ready Jet Go!
Ready Jet Go! follows Jet Propulsion, an alien boy living in Boxwood Terrace with his human friends Sean and Sydney. Each episode pairs a backyard adventure with a space science question answered by Jet's parents and the supercomputer Face 9000. The PBS series aired two seasons from 2016 to 2019.
Season 1 introduces the solar system basics and the Propulsion family secret. Season 2 expands to the outer planets and deeper engineering projects. The film Ready Jet Go! Space Camp arrived in 2023 as a farewell trip that assumes you know the main cast. Watching the film first would spoil friendships that develop across the two seasons.
Good to know
Release order is also story order. The show teaches one concept at a time and later episodes reuse terms like rotation, orbit and gravity without re-explaining them. Watch season 1, then season 2, then Space Camp. The one-hour specials about eclipses and the Moon can be watched where they aired, since they were designed as mid-season event episodes rather than separate continuity.
