About The Real Ghostbusters
The Real Ghostbusters ran 140 episodes from 1986 to 1991, continuing the 1984 film's crew through syndication and Saturday mornings with Slimer joining the opening titles. Extreme Ghostbusters followed in 1997 with Egon training a new college age team across 40 episodes.
Watch The Real Ghostbusters in air order, then Extreme Ghostbusters. The sequel is set years later with Egon as the bridge, so it spoils nothing but assumes the original's world. The Slimer! spin segments aired inside the block and need no separate slot. The later films are a separate continuity.

Syndication shuffles the 140 episodes freely, but the show is mostly episodic, so air order is a recommendation rather than a requirement; the season groupings below follow the original sequence.
