About Ren and Stimpy
The Ren and Stimpy Show ran five seasons from 1991 as Nickelodeon's gross-out flagship, with Spumco's first two seasons setting the house style and Games carrying the rest to 1996. Each short resets the chihuahua and cat into new jobs and disasters.
Adult Party Cartoon from 2003 revived the duo for Spike TV with six episodes, three aired and three DVD-only, including the banned Man's Best Friend from the original run. A Comedy Central reimagining was greenlit in 2020 but shelved before launch. Watch the original straight through, then the adult run as a coda.
Good to know
The show resets every short, so release order is simply the production tour from Spumco to Games. Man's Best Friend was made for season 2 but shelved, airing later with the adult run, though guides note its original slot. The 2020 Comedy Central revival was cancelled before launch per 2026 reporting. No active revival exists, so this six-entry list is complete.
