About Rock Paper Scissors
Rock Paper Scissors is a Nickelodeon animated comedy from Josh Lehrman and Kyle Stegina that premiered on February 12, 2024. Roommates Rock, Paper and Scissors bumble through jobs, inventions and rivalries with neighbor Pencil and landlord Lou. Season 1 ran 20 episodes, and season 2 premiered on November 7, 2025, with a third season already ordered.
The humor is loud slapstick built on the trio's object logic, with Rock's modeling dreams and Scissors' schemes driving most plots. Gags reset weekly, but roommate lore and Pencil's friendship grow across seasons. Watch season 1 before season 2 in release order for the running jokes to land.
Good to know
Watch season 1 from 2024 before the 2025 second season, since roommate dynamics and Pencil's role build across both runs. Most episodes are self contained slapstick, so casual viewing works, but Franz Roll and Lou gags pay off in order. The show comes from the same Shorts Program as Wylde Pak with a wilder tone. Two seasons in release order cover the trio so far.
