About Rocket Monkeys
Rocket Monkeys follows brothers Gus and Wally, goofy astronaut monkeys taking missions from GASI headquarters. With robot YAY-OK and boss Dr. Chimpsky, each episode pairs a space delivery with a banana disaster. Teletoon aired sixty-five episodes from 2013 to 2016.
Early episodes establish ship rules and the Nefarious alliance. Middle chapters add the Hopper and the Monkevil plots. Later episodes stage medal ceremonies that reuse earlier rescues. The ranks and gadgets return without redefinition, so order teaches the acronyms.
Good to know
Watch in broadcast order. The missions are standalone, yet GASI staff and villains recur. There is no serial finale to spoil heavily. Kids can sample any banana mission once they know Gus and Wally, yet the later medal episodes land better after the full rescue list. Later medal shows reward viewers who know the early rescue missions.
