Rosie and Jim Watch Order

Rosie and Jim ran eight series and 175 episodes on ITV from September 3, 1990 to May 16, 2000. Watch series 1 through 8 in broadcast order. Episodes are self contained boat outings, so any order works but release order is simplest.

About Rosie and Jim

Rosie and Jim follows two rag dolls alive on a narrowboat named Ragdoll with a duck. Anne Wood and Robin Stevens created the 15 minute then 11 minute preschool show for Ragdoll with Central Television. John Cunliffe led series 1 and 2 across 50 episodes, Pat Hutchins led series 3 and 4 across 45 episodes.

Neil Brewer led series 5 through 8 across 80 episodes from 1997 to 2000. The finale named The Magic Show aired May 16, 2000 with repeats to July 23, 2004. No ninth series was ordered. Compilations on VHS and DVD reuse episodes rather than adding new stories.

Good to know

Watch series 1 to 8 in broadcast order. Start with Cunliffe Locks run, continue through Hutchins Radio Station run, then finish the Brewer years from Harmonica to The Magic Show. Counts vary by source, but Wikipedia and IMDb agree on 175 episodes. The 1999 water safety short and stage tour are extras outside the episode list.
