About Sonic Prime
Sonic Prime (2022 to 2024) shatters the universe when Sonic breaks the Paradox Prism and scatters across the Shatterverse. Season 1 follows his Green Hill and New Yoke City travels across 8 episodes. Season 2 expands the pirate and jungle worlds across 8 episodes in 2023. Season 3 reunites the crew against Nine across 7 episodes in 2024.
Watch in release order because shard hunts and variant allies stack toward the finale. Season 1 aired December 2022 and sets the prism rules. Season 2 aired July 2023 and deepens Shadow and Thorn. Season 3 aired January 2024 and ends the Shatterverse quest. The 23 episodes form one serialized quest with no side films to place elsewhere.
Good to know
The full run is 23 episodes split 8, 8 and 7 across three seasons, ideal for a weekend marathon. Variant versions of Tails, Amy and Knuckles recur, so release order keeps their arcs clear. The finale in season 3 closes the prism plot with no cliffhanger. Watch all three seasons in order, since later shards only make sense after the early city and pirate chapters.
