About Spider-Man
Spider-Man has been rebooted for TV about once a decade since 1967, and none of the animated series share continuity. The 1994 Fox series ran sixty-five episodes and defined the character for a generation, while Spectacular Spider-Man from 2008 is the fan favorite that ended after two seasons.
Later versions include Ultimate Spider-Man, the 2017 series, the preschool Spidey and His Amazing Friends, and the MCU-adjacent Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man from 2025. Pick any era as a start, since each show retells the origin. Release order below is the full tour in the order the shows aired.
Good to know
Every animated Spider-Man is its own reboot, so there is no plot thread running from 1967 to 2025. New viewers should start with the 1994 series or Spectacular Spider-Man, then branch out by taste. Spidey and His Amazing Friends is a preschool show and can be skipped by older viewers. Your Friendly Neighborhood season 2 is dated January 2027 on Disney+, with season 3 also greenlit.
