About StarCom
StarCom is DIC's 1987 motorized toy saga about the US Space Force holding the frontier. Thirteen episodes aired September 20 to December 13, 1987 in syndication, opening on the Shadow invasion and closing before Christmas. The Coleco motorized toy gimmick carried the line into Christmas.
Poor ratings cancelled it after one thirteen episode run, with 1990s reruns as the only afterlife. The StarCom versus Shadow War resets weekly. Watch episodes 1 through 13 in order since the frontier setup stacks lightly across the fall.
Good to know
Watch episodes 1 through 13 in airing order. The Space Force roster and the Shadow invasion stack lightly, so the finale only lands with the run behind it. No second season, film or revival is announced. The thirteen stand as the complete run with DVD reissues repackaging the same thirteen episodes with no new animation.
