About The Strangerhood
The Strangerhood traps eight odd neighbors on Strangerhood Lane with no memories, filmed inside The Sims 2 as a send up of sitcoms and reality TV. Season 1 ran for 17 episodes from October 18, 2004 to April 27, 2006, moving from the waking mystery through the Nikki murder plot to the time travel reveal.
Between the seasons came Strangerhood Studios, 6 shorts made with the Independent Film Channel in 2005, plus holiday specials. Season 2 ran for 4 episodes from September 29 to October 3, 2015 as a Lazer Team crowdfunding stretch goal, reuniting the cast in The Sims 4.
Good to know
Release order is story order, so no second list is needed. Watch season 1 first, then the Studios shorts, then season 2, since the revival assumes you know the original mystery. The Sims engine limits mean faces and sets repeat, which is normal for 2004 machinima. The DVD order matches the online order, so either source gives the same sequence.
