About Tuca and Bertie
Tuca and Bertie follows toucan Tuca and thrush Bertie with Speckle in Bird Town from Lisa Hanawalt with surreal warmth. Season 1 ran ten episodes on Netflix from May 2019 before cancellation. Adult Swim revived it for season 2 with ten episodes from June 2021 and season 3 with ten from July 2022 to August 2022.
Tiffany Haddish and Ali Wong lead with Steven Yeun. The move keeps continuity, so Bertie's bakery and housing arcs run across networks. Watch in broadcast order since the friendship milestones stack.
Good to know
Watch seasons 1 through 3 in order across both networks, since housing and job arcs carry over directly. The show is TV-MA adult animation with surreal gags throughout. Bertie's bakery dream spans all three years from apprentice to owner. Adult Swim cancelled it in November 2022, so season 3 is the endpoint.
