About Baldi's Basics
Baldi's Basics in Education and Learning released March 31, 2018 from Basically Games as a free horror parody of school edutainment with seven notebooks and Baldi chasing wrong answers. Birthday Bash followed in 2019 with party rooms and random events that remix the same school.
Baldi's Basics Plus entered early access June 12, 2020 on Steam with procedural floors, field trips and new characters plus regular updates to 2024. The Plus version expands the Classic loop with more notebooks and endings, so newcomers learn basics first before tackling larger maps. The pace stays steady across entries, with each part adding new faces without losing the core tone.
Good to know
There is no separate story order worth listing since all three use the same school loop with Baldi hunting you, so release order is play order. Play Classic fully before Plus, since Plus assumes notebook math and stamina rules. Treat Plus as ongoing with updates, and save mods for after the main three. Plan extra time for finales, since later parts assume full knowledge of earlier twists.
