About Chants of Sennaar
Chants of Sennaar follows a traveler climbing a Babel tower where Devotees, Warriors, Bards, Alchemists and Anchorites speak different tongues. Rundisc released the puzzle adventure in 2023 with glyph notebooks.
Early floors teach Devotee plurals and Warrior imperatives. Middle chapters add Bard metaphors and Alchemist formulas. Later floors demand full translations that assume earlier roots. The glyphs return without re-glossing, so skipping ahead hides how meanings combine. Climbing slowly lets grammar click into place, which makes top-floor talks feel bright.
Good to know
Play floors bottom to top in order. The tower only opens upward after translating key murals in fixed order. There is no DLC to slot elsewhere. New players should expect a calm ten-hour decipher that rewards sketching more than rushing. Keep notebook pages handy to match glyphs across levels. Talk twice to confirm signs.
