About Demon Slayer Games
Demon Slayer games are CyberConnect arena fighters following Tanjiro arcs. The Hinokami Chronicles from October 2021 covers Unwavering Resolve through Mugen Train with versus mode. Sweep the Board from April 2024 resets as a Mario style party board with minigames.
Sega published both with the same breathing combos and demon roster. The stories never link as games, only the fighters. Each game plays alone once you know the slash loop. The combos never drop across arenas. New slayers join every roster for fans.
Good to know
There is no shared save between the games, so either fighter works alone once you know Tanjiro. Release order is still the best tutorial because Board refines arena moves. Start with Hinokami for the story fights, then take Board for the party return. The roster never thins across both long titles for Tanjiro.
