About Disco Elysium
Disco Elysium follows detective Harry Du Bois solving a harbor murder in Martinaise across a few in game days. The Windows release arrived October 15, 2019 with macOS on April 27, 2020. The Final Cut arrived March 30, 2021 on PC and PlayStation with free PC update, then Switch and Xbox on October 12, 2021.
The Final Cut adds full voiceover near 1.2 million words with Lenval Brown narrating plus new Political Vision quests and a new area. It replaces the original, so do not play both for story. An Android portrait retelling arrived August 5, 2025 with the first two chapters free. No sequel is in production after projects Y12 and X7 were canceled.
Good to know
Play the Final Cut as the single main entry. It holds the 2019 story with added quests and voices, so the original is only for history. Treat the 2025 mobile build as an abridged alternate for short sessions rather than part 2. Zero Parades from 2026 shares staff but is a new universe, not Disco Elysium 2, so keep it out of this list.
