About Aion
Aion launched November 2008 in Korea and September 2009 in the West with Atreia split and Abyss PvP. Assault on Balaurea (2010) raised cap with Balaurea zones, pets and windstreams against Tiamat.
Dark Betrayal (2013) continued Tiamat story with new skills, while Echoes of Eternity (2016) brought the most recent expansion with updated zones. Aion Classic relaunched progression servers from 2023 with Storm in Balaurea updates. Play in release order, since each expansion assumes prior flight and stigma systems. The game stays live with Classic updates.
