About Avowed
Avowed launched February 18, 2025 on PC and Xbox Series from Obsidian in Eora Pillars universe with first person spells. The envoy tracks Dreamscourge across Dawnshore to Shatterscarp with Kai, Giatta, and Yatzli companions. Premium early access ran February 13 with recipes.
PS5 port followed February 17, 2026 with Anniversary Update content and performance modes. Sales missed Xbox hopes in 2026 with sequel scrapped in July layoffs. No DLC is dated. Play base first, with PS5 version as same story plus extras and haptics.
Good to know
There is no separate chronological order worth listing. The envoy tour plays in release order in one run of about 30 hours with totems. Start with base difficulty, since companion combos matter for Dreamscourge fights in Emerald Stair. Treat the 2026 PS5 port as latest version, with no sequel dated after team moves.
