About Dragon Force
Dragon Force mixes map strategy and real time battles across Legendra. The 1996 Saturn original from Sega and Chime offers eight monarchs such as Wein, Teiris, Junon and Gongos, each opening in a different castle with its own generals, fortress paths and route to the dark god Madruk. You recruit over one hundred generals, build castles, search for items and direct clashes of up to one hundred troops.
Dragon Force II arrived in 1998 only in Japan and moves to new eastern lands with fresh rulers, dragon lore and a tighter story that names kings from the first war. Battles keep the same general loyalty, troop type and fortress siege model with sharper sprites. Play in release order, since the sequel assumes you know the first cast and keeps the same systems throughout.

Play in release order. The eight starting monarchs split the map, so release order is the only stable path and keeps mechanics simple. Dragon Force II stayed Japan only until fan translations and imports, so play it last with a guide for menus and promotions. No third entry has appeared since 1998, so the pair stands complete with no spinoff to place.
