About Ghost Trick
Ghost Trick follows Sissel in 2010, a ghost with one night to solve his own murder by possessing objects and rewinding four minutes before deaths. The DS original runs eighteen chapters from the junkyard to the TemsikCore truth.
The 2023 HD remaster retells the same night with redrawn art on modern platforms. Play the original or the remaster first, since there is only one story. The remaster replaces the original cleanly, so pick one version rather than both. Capcom shipped the original on DS with Shu Takumi writing and directing.
Good to know
Play the DS original or the 2023 remaster, not both back to back. The remaster keeps the same chapters with quality of life extras like arranged music. Shu Takumi wrote and directed the game between Ace Attorney runs. No sequel had been announced as of October 2026, so the one night stands complete.
