About Granblue Fantasy
Granblue Fantasy is a Cygames sky saga about Gran, Lyria and the crew chasing the Astrals. The 2014 mobile game carries the long main story across story islands. Versus brings Arc System Works fighting in 2020, Versus Rising expands it in 2023.
Relink arrived in 2024 as an action RPG in the same sky with a separate crew thread. Release order keeps the Astral terms clear, since the console games reuse mobile names and primals. The anime in the anime section adapts early mobile arcs for new viewers.
Good to know
Start with the mobile story if you want full lore, or start with Relink for action and treat mobile as backstory. Versus entries are side fighters with story modes, so they sit after mobile but before Relink in lore weight. New mobile chapters still extend the main thread each year with events for fans.
