About Hotel Dusk
Hotel Dusk stars ex-detective Kyle Hyde questioning every guest of Room 215's hotel in 1979 Los Angeles. Cing's 2007 DS adventure plays like a paperback, interrogating suspects across one night.
Last Window followed in 2010 with Hyde in 1980 Cape West Apartments on a sequel case, released everywhere except America. Play Room 215 first for Hyde's disgrace, then Last Window. The sequel assumes the first night's revelations fully. Hyde's notebook fills with lies to untangle across both long nights.
Good to know
Release order is story order across Hyde's two nights. Last Window never released in North America, so import or emulation fills the gap for completists. Cing's bankruptcy closed the series after two entries. Both games read as one duology with a real ending. DS stylus interrogations still feel unique today.
