About Kane and Lynch
Kane and Lynch follows mercenary Adam Kane and medicated Lynch across gritty third person shooters from IO Interactive. Dead Men launched November 13, 2007 on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 about The Seven holding Kane family hostage. Dog Days followed August 17, 2010 in Shanghai after a job kills a crime lord daughter.
Eidos published the first run and Square Enix the second, with co op as the draw in both. A film was long discussed with rewrites but never shot, and no third game has been announced since 2010, leaving the duology closed.
Good to know
Release order matches story order across the three year gap. Dead Men leans on squad cover with fragile AI, while Dog Days shifts to handheld camcorder close combat. Co op helps both, since single AI partners frustrate on higher settings. The 2013 double pack just bundles the pair with no new content.
