About Killzone
Killzone is Guerrilla's war against the Helghast, following ISA soldiers from the invasion of Vekta through Pyrrhus and Helghan itself. The main trilogy plus the Liberation and Mercenary spinoffs and the PS4 launch title Shadow Fall form one timeline.
Release order is story order. The series has been dormant since 2013 while Guerrilla works on Horizon.
Good to know
Liberation (PSP) sits between 1 and 2 in story but plays fine after them. Online servers for older entries are shut down; campaigns still work.
