About Mike Bithell
Mike Bithell's games span minimalist platforming, stealth, short dialogue stories, licensed tactics, and a Disney detective story. Thomas Was Alone (2012) pairs simple rectangles with narration by Danny Wallace. Volume (2015) reworks Robin Hood as a stealth game with 100 story levels. The two Bithell Shorts, Subsurface Circular (2017) and Quarantine Circular (2018), are compact text adventures about robots and first contact.
John Wick Hex (2019) turns the film series into a turn-based tactics game where every move costs time, and Tron: Identity (2023) puts you on a new Grid as Query, a program investigating an explosion. The six games are standalone, so release order shows how Bithell's design changed over eleven years without locking story details behind earlier entries.
Good to know
There is no separate chronological order for this set worth listing. The six games are standalone releases with no shared plot to reorder, so release order and story order are the same list. John Wick Hex was removed from sale on all platforms on July 17, 2025, though existing owners kept access. Later Bithell credits such as The Solitaire Conspiracy and Tron: Catalyst sit outside this six-game path.
