About Overcooked
Overcooked (2016) sets the Onion King quest across campaign kitchens on August 2, 2016 for PS4, PC and Xbox from Ghost Town Games. Overcooked 2 (2018) adds throwing, online play and the Unbread threat on August 7, 2018. Overcooked: All You Can Eat (2021) bundles both plus all DLC with remade levels, new chefs and assist mode, out November 12, 2020 on PS5 and Series consoles and March 23, 2021 elsewhere.
Team17 publishes the co op series with no story to spoil beyond the Beast feasts. All You Can Eat is the same meals at 60 frames with cross play, not a third story. New cooks should play 1, then 2, or just buy All You Can Eat for both in one pack.
Good to know
Release order matches skill order, since throw and dash only appear in the sequel. Do not buy 1 and 2 separately if All You Can Eat is cheaper, as it holds every kitchen plus seven new ones. The pack runs best on current consoles with faster loads. Treat the series as on break, since Team17 says no third game is in work.
