About Panzer General
Panzer General is an SSI turn based wargame about corps level World War II battles. The 1994 original sets prestige and supply across Poland to Moscow. Allied General flips to the Allied side, Pacific General moves to naval island war.
Panzer General II refines the system in 1997 with new campaigns, and 3D Assault moves it to 3D in 1999. Release order teaches combined arms in the order the designers tuned it. Later spiritual sequels like Panzer Corps sit outside this SSI run entirely for fans today.
Good to know
Play in release order. The Allied and Pacific entries reuse the engine but need the base ideas, so they sit after the original. Panzer General II is the mechanical peak, which is why it sits fourth rather than first. The fan Forever build can wait until after II for extra maps and long scenarios today.
