About Playground Games
Playground Games from Leamington Spa makes Forza Horizon festivals, Xbox owned since 2018. Horizon arrived October 2012 in Colorado with Turn 10, Horizon 2 in September 2014, Horizon 3 in September 2016 in Australia, Horizon 4 in October 2018 in Britain with seasons and Horizon 5 in November 2021 in Mexico with PS5 port in 2025.
Horizon 6 arrives May 19, 2026 on Series, PC and PS5 in Japan with 550 plus cars as lead Forza after Turn 10 restructure. Fable reboot arrives February 23, 2027 on Xbox, PC and PS5 with Game Pass day one, co developed with Eidos Montreal as new Albion beginning, not Fable 4. Delays moved Fable from 2025 to 2026 to 2027 to avoid GTA VI. Each Horizon stands alone by location.
Good to know
Play Horizon 1 through 5 in any order with release tracking tech and seasons, then Horizon 6. Play Horizon 5 before 6 for live continuity. Play Fable reboot separate with no prior Lionhead required. Horizon 1 and 2 delisted extras stay out unless owned. Add Fable at the end for February 2027. Keep festival order for Horizon line.
